Pirastro
Pirastro is a German manufacturer of strings for bowed instruments, a reference for soloists and orchestras. We carry four violin sets, including the famous gut-core Oliv and the Passione, also in Solo version.
Gut-core strings need a settling-in period and more careful maintenance than synthetic strings, but offer a harmonic richness that many violinists consider irreplaceable. From €104 to €187 a set.
