Delivery and returns

Everything you need to know before ordering: who delivers, how long it takes, at what price, and how to send an item back to us if it does not suit you.

Dispatch

Orders placed on a working day are prepared and handed to the carrier within 48 to 72 working hours; for items under €100, dispatch is guaranteed within 72 working hours. Bulky instruments (digital pianos, guitars, bass drums) are packed with particular care, which may take extra time; we will then let you know by email.

Carrier and delivery times

We ship with GLS. Allow generally 24 to 48 hours for transit in mainland France after dispatch, and 4 to 5 working days for delivery in the other countries of the European Union. These times are indicative and depend on the carrier. In any event, and in accordance with Article L216-1 of the French Consumer Code, your order will be delivered to you no later than 30 days after it is placed.

Delivery charges

The exact amount is always shown in your basket, before any payment. For shipping outside mainland France involving a bulky instrument, please contact us before ordering: we will draw up a suitable transport quote.

On receipt

Check the condition of the parcel in front of the courier. If the packaging is damaged, note specific reservations on the delivery slip and let us know the same day: we will take the matter up with GLS. These reservations do not deprive you of any of your guarantee rights.

Changing your mind: 14 days to withdraw

You have 14 calendar days from receipt to tell us the item does not suit you, without having to justify yourself.

1. Let us know by email at contact@acoustics-micsandpickups.fr or on +33 6 83 72 37 34, quoting your order number. You can also use the model withdrawal form, though you are under no obligation to do so.
2. Send the item back within 14 days of that notification, complete, with its accessories and original packaging, to: Philippe Moreau – Acoustics Mics and Pickups, 1 rue Auguste Besset, 71150 Demigny.
3. You are refunded in full, standard delivery costs included, no later than 14 days after we receive the return (or after proof of its dispatch), using the same means of payment as that used for the order.

Return costs are at your expense, unless the item is faulty, non-conforming, or we have made a mistake. Choose a tracked service: the parcel travels at your risk until it reaches us.

An instrument can of course be tried out. However, an item that is visibly worn, scratched or altered beyond what is needed to test its characteristics may be subject to a deduction for loss in value from the refund. Stick-on pickups and microphones should be returned with their original adhesive unused where possible.

Faulty or non-conforming item

That is a different case, and it has no 14-day limit: all our products benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery, as well as the guarantee against hidden defects. Repair or replacement free of charge, at your choice. Details are given in Article 9 of the terms and conditions of sale.

In this case, return costs are on us. Write to us describing the problem, if possible with a photo or a short sound recording: that is often what settles the matter fastest.
