Description

4/4 cello string set
Tension: Medium
Professional: Thomastik-Infeld DOMINANT PRO® NO.DP400: for all the pros:
Special feature: innovative metal core

INSPIRATION REDEFINED:
Inspired by the sound of a valve amp and using the playing possibilities created by an innovative metal core, DOMINANT PRO® redefines the sound ideals of the past. The set has an airy, light tonal character with pronounced, brilliant harmonics and a pleasantly warm basic timbre with plenty of texture. DOMINANT PRO® is a pure pleasure to play.

MODULATIONPLUS:
The highest capacity for modulating timbre and sound structure: depending on playing style, the sound of the strings can be shaped with incredible brilliance or be warm, round and saturated. The sound structure can be wonderfully modulated from fine grain to coarse grain.

SHHH… WOW!
The dynamic range extends from an airy, delicate pianissimo (pp) to a rich fortissimo (ff).

FASTER THAN EVER:
DOMINANT PRO® is the name for the fastest, most direct response in the Thomastik-Infeld cello string repertoire. It is above all at high bow speeds that the strings develop their supporting resonance.

STRUCTURE:
Rich colours and a particularly well-structured sound!
