- Modified roasted maple Esquire neck from the ’50s
- 22 narrow tall frets
- Maple fingerboard, 9.5-inch radius
- U-shape profile
- This replacement neck is compatible with Fender and Squier® by Fender guitars
The charm of a roasted maple neck is undeniable. Resistant to changes in humidity and with a beautiful dark tint, it offers increased sustain and gives the instrument a unique tone. This modified roasted maple Esquire neck follows the profile of an early-1950s Esquire neck, but with a flatter fingerboard radius and wider frets for modern playability.
Fender replacement necks are made in Fender factories to the same specifications as those used on our instruments. This Esquire neck, made in Ensenada, Mexico, has a maple fingerboard, a 9.5-inch radius and 22 narrow tall frets. The one-piece roasted maple neck has a thick “U” profile typical of the early 1950s, with a smooth satin urethane finish on both sides. The headstock, with its gloss finish, bears an authentic “Esquire” logo to complete the classic look.
The bone nut is pre-slotted with string-position marks that make spacing much easier when filing the final notches. For guaranteed Fender authenticity, it is also numbered and stamped, with the genuine Fender logo on the headstock.
