The Songwriter series is developed to have a very focused, voluminous and inspiring sound to accompany a singer-songwriter as well as any other guitarist. To achieve this, we have applied special lattice bracing. This bracing pattern is responsible for a well-defined sound with more punch than a guitar with ordinary X bracing. This bracing pattern derives from classical guitar construction and is unique in the world of the acoustic guitar. The ovangkol wood we used for the sides and back is known for its volume and projection. If you like the lightness and airiness of mahogany but also want the power of rosewood, the SWG-130CE is the guitar for you!
To emphasise the differences from our standard range, we have developed new cosmetics with wooden fittings and bridge pins. A new rosette with abalone and wood, and no pickguard.
The Fishman Isys+ amplification system with multiple controls guarantees trouble-free performance on stage.
Like all Richwood Master Series guitars, the Songwriter Series offers excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.
