The classical guitar is truly a wonderful instrument. Steeped in history, with an immediately recognisable sound. It is hard to decide what you like most: building one or playing the instrument:
Admittedly, building a Salvador Cortez guitar is a real dream for a luthier. The selection and working of the various top-quality materials using traditional Spanish methods truly give each instrument an individual soul, making it much more than just a guitar. Try one and see what I mean!
The Salvador Cortez guitar is a luxurious classical guitar with a solid European spruce top, sides and back in solid Indian rosewood, and an ebony fingerboard. The slightly smaller size and the lighter bracing system are responsible for the rich, detailed sound. The treble notes sound like velvet while the bass is clear and full. The balance is fantastic.
The CS-130 is not just a study instrument, it is an incredible guitar that any professional or amateur guitarist will love!
Like all Salvador Cortez guitars, this CS-130 has an adjustable truss rod to ensure perfect playability for years to come.
The CS-130-E comes with a pre-installed Fishman Presys Blend dual-source pickup system. The blend of the directness of the under-saddle pickup and the airiness of the microphone merges into a perfect mix of natural sound once amplified.
