The Songwriter series from the famous “RICHWOOD” brand is developed to have a very focused, voluminous and inspiring sound to accompany a singer-songwriter as well as any other guitarist. To achieve this, we have applied special lattice bracing. This bracing pattern is responsible for a well-defined sound with more punch and more volume than a guitar with ordinary X bracing. The tonal character is very even: no overwhelming bass, no harsh treble; it is inspiration captured in a beautiful wooden box.
To emphasise these differences, we have developed new cosmetics with wooden fittings and bridge pins. A new rosette with abalone and wood, and no pickguard.
The SWG-110-CE has a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The satin finish makes it an instrument with a strong, open sound.
Like all Richwood Master Series guitars, the Songwriter Series offers excellent playability with a very comfortable neck profile.

Margaux Guerin –
