The small-bodied Royall Bantam Blazer resonator guitar is not only a pleasure to look at, it is extremely comfortable to play and still has that typical high-quality resonator sound.
The ROYALL Bantam Blazer is a resonator guitar with a maple body in Parlor format. The beautiful flame maple body and the 14-fret body join are just begging to be played on stage. The neck is 46 mm wide at the nut, which allows every style of playing. For stage use, a single-coil Lipstick pickup with volume and tone control is fitted.
The combination of a smaller body with maple gives this model a warm but compact sound. The biscuit-bridge resonator design and the maple wood are both known for a powerful reproduction of the fundamental tones and controlled upper harmonics. The Bantam Blazer therefore has a clearly articulated voice that never becomes too “harsh” in the treble. Thanks to the smaller parlour body size, the bass never becomes overwhelming either. This is also a huge advantage in live situations, where it is often the bass that can cause feedback problems.
The luthiers who build and set up Royall guitars actually play resonator guitar themselves, which is a major asset. In the Royall workshop, the resonator cones are hand-spun to fit the instruments. As this is the heart of the sound, Royall’s hand-spun resonator cones make a huge difference. The best quality available! The ROYALL Bantam Blazer comes with a lightweight soft case.
